VITON fluorine rubber (FKM) : rubber containing fluorine molecules, according to the fluorine content of the monomer structure and various types; High temperature resistance is better than silicone rubber, chemical resistance, resistance to most of the oil and solvent (except ketone, ester), weather resistance, ozone resistance are good, but cold resistance is poor; Generally widely used in steam engine, car, b products, chemical seals, the use of temperature range -20℃ ~ 260℃, low temperature requirements when using low temperature resistant type can be used to -40℃, for the higher price.
NBR Butadiene rubber: Nitrile butadiene rubber is made by emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. It is mainly produced by low-temperature emulsion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages are poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor electrical performance, slightly lower elasticity. In addition, it also has good water resistance, air tightness and excellent bonding properties. Widely used in the production of various oil resistant rubber products, a variety of oil resistant gaskets, gaskets, casing, flexible packaging, flexible hose, printing and dyeing rubber roller, cable rubber materials, etc., in the automobile, aviation, petroleum, photocopying and other industries have become an essential elastic material. Nitrile rubber has excellent oil resistance, its oil resistance is second only to polysulfide rubber and fluorine rubber, and has wear resistance and air tightness. The disadvantage of butadiene rubber is not resistant to ozone and aromatic, halogenated hydrocarbon, ketone and ester solvents, should not be insulation materials.
Main use: nitrile rubber is used mainly for oil products, such as CNG high pressure solenoid valve, oil pipe, tape, rubber diaphragm and large oil capsule, etc., are often used to make all kinds of oil resistant hydraulic valve, electromagnetic valve, moulded products such as o-ring, oil seal, cup, diaphragm valve, corrugated pipe, etc., are used to make plastic board and wear-resisting, motivation solenoid valve parts.
EPDM ethylene-Diene Monomer is a terpolymer of Ethylene, Propylene and non-conjugated diolefin. The most important characteristic of EPDM is its superior oxidation resistance, ozone resistance and erosion resistance. Because epDM belongs to the polyolefin family, it has excellent vulcanization characteristics. Of all rubbers, EPDM has a specific gravity. It can absorb a large amount of filler and oil without affecting the characteristics. Therefore, low cost rubber compound can be produced, car carbon tank solenoid valve.
Molecular structure and properties: EPDM is a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and unconjugated diolefin. Diolefin has a special structure, only one of the two bonds can be copolymerized, unsaturated double bonds are mainly used as crosslinks. The other unsaturated one is not going to be the backbone of the polymerization, it's just going to be the side chain. The main polymer chain of epDM is completely saturated. This property makes EPdm resistant to heat, light, oxygen, and especially ozone. Epdm is nonpolar in nature, resistant to polar solutions and chemicals, low water absorption, and has good insulation properties.
